(Though not for my country, we lost Scarborough Shoal to China on the same month).The events of the movie might butterfly that away, having 25,000 death in Hong Kong as mention in the movie i think might put China attention away from taking over Scarborough Shoal. |

The reason why I like this movie is simple: nostalgia. April 2012 was great month for me. (Though not for my country, we lost Scarborough Shoal to China on the same month).The events of the movie might butterfly that away, having 25,000 death in Hong Kong as mention in the movie i think might put China attention away from taking over Scarborough Shoal. The movie's POD is either July or August 2012 so the Philippine Navy already left the Scarborough Shoal (left in June 2012 OTL). China seized it but my guess is that the CMS and the PLA-N would be forced to defend the Chinese coast in case of future Reagent incursions. There were no artificial islands yet in 2012 so this gives the opportunity for the Filipinos to take the shoal back. |
