France will surely reinforced his strenght in Pacific Ocean for protecting New Caledonia and French Polynesia, and it seems that-NATO/Russia relationships will be improved So Crimea can be butterflied away here? Well Russia might still do it, thinking the United States and NATO will not do anything due the focus being towards Korea. |

Russia could but in this case, i don't think that 2014 Ukrainian revolution will be successfull as Russian Special Forces will be directly deployed.

Well the best thing that could be done i think is launch a long range missile armed with a nuke and detonate it in the path of the upcoming Regents ships in the hope of damaging them what happen to the communication ship at the start of the movie who hit a orbiting satellite. |

And I'm not sure if the Russians and the Americans will cooperate on orbital-based defenses. This project will cost billions of dollars. |

I have a feeling that video has been shown before but it was a US/Soviet conflict rather than again an alien attack.
In the event of an attack such as in the film I think even Putin would join the US and Chinese in a join project with anyone else willing to help out.

Can happen, but such a platform could be used to fire missiles against a Regent fleet that comes in at high speed by detonating the missiles warheads before the path of the regent ships damaging ore destroying them. |

It seems that the Regent scout expedition will be probably pushed for more International Mutual defence and most probably a huge wawe of invest into Space technologies, i can see US Space Force being created much earlier as same for EU and Russia.
