'2023 Asian Tigers To 1943'. On January 1st of both years, just so we're clear. Who are those Asian Tigers? Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan. All are from January 1st, 2023, as I’ve pointed out before.

Those nations are the east Asian "miracle economies" and are currently slated to replace the Chinese mainlanders as the CHICOMS sink their economy into ruin. I would remove Hong Kong from the original list as the Mainlander CCP Chinese have looted that city as they have looted mainlander China of about 1/3 to 1/2 of its fungibles and stolen it and spent it on foreign "baubles". But as that is not in the ISOT, just go with the premise of a suddenly monkeywrenched Japanese 1943 Empire for the immediate effects.

Japanese troops in China are forced to surrender as South Korea severs their supply lines from Japan.
Taiwan gives ROC on the mainland help to defeat the CCP.
The world in 2023 is at 2050-2080 technological level.

The world in 2023 is at 2050-2080 technological level. 1. Where do the ROKs get the oil and food to sustain themselves? 2. Same for Taiwan. In both cases they need outside raw materials suppliers (1943 Allies) to make their economies work. Otherwise it becomes an "interesting race to survive" until the Americans reach them as both Taiwan and the ROK can manufacture atomic bombs in about 2 months.

Thr Beattles and Elvis Presley from 1961 ISOT to 1921. It is Wilsonian America.
The Beatles might get a better reception in post war Britain with the reaction against the war leading to the flapper era but their still going to stick out like a very sore thumb.

Well unless Thailand, Vietnam and also Malaya are brought along then Singapore will put up a hard fight but go down. Hong Kong is likely to fall quickly as its too isolated, dependent on external supplies and also would be somewhat split and divided between the locals and the CCP thugs - at least initially until they both realise what their facing.
S Korea and Taiwan will have problems as miletus12, said with supplies as well, especially since a lot of things simply can't be obtained in 1943 even if the US is able to supply them. [Which with the navies and air forces of the two powers running convoys to them may be possible if the US is willing]. However their going to put the Japanese, on land, at sea and in the air into serious agony while their materials last. Plus their severing a lot of sea links for Japan.
Not sure how Taiwan would view Chiang. Better that Mao and his gang but still a thug and crook. Possibly if they offer aid in return for international recognition of their independence?
If either can produce nukes on the TL miletus12, is suggesting then its probably game over pretty quickly.
If the other three come back as well then again its a quicker end for the war in the Pacific. Malaya would enable the survival of Singapore and also cut a lot of Japanese supply lines in the southern part of the region. Thailand isolates their forces in Burma and also can link up with Malaya and Vietnam to undermine their position in S China and the former DEI. Although again Vietnam especially may not want China too powerful too quickly, whether that China was communist or right wing dictatorship.

And then we look at this...and this.I was being optimistic. If you talked to "experts" about non-declared nuclear weapon armed states, then at least "one" of the ISOTTED nations, one with no love for Japan, can deliver an atomic weapon to Tokyo within 24 hours of ISOT. In fact the package would include several dozen such weapons across Japan and other areas.

2020 North Korea to June 22 1941 That would be interesting. I suspect the DPRK army would last about 3 days as the IJA tears them apart. Then what? The dud rate of DPRK copies of Pakistani atomic bombs is about 75%. It will take the Japanese about 3 years to figure out what they have captured and make it properly work.

IMO it's the DPRK which tears IJA apart.
Seriously, IJA is mostly at ww1 level in terms of equipment. It has nothing capable of destroying a T-54 let alone better tanks.

IMO it's the DPRK which tears IJA apart. Seriously, IJA is mostly at ww1 level in terms of equipment. It has nothing capable of destroying a T-54 let alone better tanks. Let us think it through? a. Where is the DPRK going to get the oil? They have at best two weeks supply on hand at any given moment. b. The Japanese have these:The serious weakness of Russian T-55 tanks to side and rear shots is due to the poor quality steels used in their manufacture. Given that the armor protection scheme was a derivative of the T-34 and that tank hunting teams of Germans killed 50,000 of those pieces of junk out of 70,000 produced in WWII. I am not convinced that the DPRK, who are even more incompetent than the Russians can even properly protect their tanks against the Japanese line infantry. The WWII Japanese army was not a WWI army by training or when they had ir, available, their equipment. They had era competitive aircraft, better light machine guns and equivalent mortars, and rifles than the Americans. Their "bonk grenade" was superior to the pineapple grenade used by the allies. In combined arms, they had a cure for the Sherman that cost the Americans hundreds of those excellent tanks. Hiding in a hole and pulling a tape fuse to set off a 100 pound satchel charge was and IS guaranteed to kill any tank. The Japanese soldier was "dedicated" as well as highly disciplined and faithful, which is something a DPRK soldier is NOT. See NEXT. Anyhow, cutting through the Russian lies about Khalkhin Ghol: where the heavily outnumbered Japanese gave the best of the Russians more than they could handle, we can get a good idea of how a Japanese Imperial Army would handle the current DPRK rabble. The "Kwantung Army" would rip them a new one.

North Korea from 2020 to June 24 1950.
As day before the Korean War started OTL.
Kim Jong Un attacks and quickly overwhelms South Korea. What's next?
Does Stalin give him the needed oil,?
How do Americans react to this unstoppable army?

How do Americans react to this unstoppable army? I honestly do not know. There were a lot of gutless cowards and traitors in the Truman administration and not enough atomic bombs in the inventory. It could still play out the same way, because 1950 or 70 years later, the DPRK was incompetent and if they give the Americans the 5 months to get their own act together, it will play out as time, geography and political will dictated it did then. The DPRK have no spare parts and no experience with their 2020 ramshackle all show and no go army. The still WWII hardened Americans had all that capability in spades.
