miletus12 Still a single regiment of 1989 KPA supported by a company of T-55s can totally whack a 1914 division. Note that there is oil in Manchuria which the Japanese missed by an inch in 1930s. DPRK might want to have it. They may also want to have the Japanese controlled hslf of Korea Outside of US and British and Dutch controlled sources in Asia... no refined jet or diesel fuelThe DPRK has a small refinery, but it has to import raw petroleum stocks. And still no spare parts or maintenance.

If you really mean over 1,000, which includes towns and villages in many places then I suspect the vast majority of the world's population has gone, including most of the people on this board. I know I won't be here.
Since many transport and communication routes go through settlements this also means that most such systems are going to be disrupted if not utterly destroyed.

Fort Benning from 2022 replaces City of Rome in 218 BC Several questions. What supplies the electricity? What supplies the food and water? Who oversees the hotel-load and supports it for the base? MAP Several features of note. No fortifications. No oil tank farm. The garrison and community with Columbus, Ga., which I presume goes with it, has a population of ~ 175,000 sprawled out along both banks of the Chattahoochee River. So where is the line of fortifications, the factory complexes, the mines, the labor forces, the armories, the farms and the seat of government to coordinate, support and administer it all? One cannot just tele-position or transposition future to past without accounts to address these issues.

‘Nukes Become Useless After 1945’.
So, not only do Hiroshima and Nagasaki remain the only instances where nuclear weapons are ever used in wartime, all nuclear tests also end in anti-climactic failure from this point forward. In which case, the effects on the Cold War should prove quite… interesting, to say the least. (Heavier investment in chemical and biological weapons, for one thing.)

As of 9 AM Koenigsberg time on August 2, 1934, all people who will be the main and middle ranking political and military leaders of the Axis Powers can now read, speak and understand up to perfect textbook level the languages and pronunciations and slang of all the Allied powers, unless they already knew - for example, Benny the Moose could understand and speak English.

By the way, has anyone done an SI into (Tom Hanks movie) Forrest Gump? Gump would have a lot of influence as well as wealth given how many USA presidents he meets. for a start. Plus Hanks-Gump gets the freaking Congressional Medal of Honour which would also open doors.

Anyone in the AH community done a serious "Hitler *does* manage to escape the Allies and go into exile"? it's such a comedy cliché the Simpsons famously parodied it:
