You’ve got a host of points in your favour from 6.5 years of good comments and questions, so it isn’t a problem. The answer to the more closed questions is usually in the text, whereas open questions will always need a response.

Well i only know about the prince because of the movie Cromwell which i think is not 100 % historical correct as it depicts Cornwall.

There are a few other films and television programmes which featured Rupert (including the great By the Sword Divided, which has both series on YouTube), but there was a fair bit more to him than just the ECW, being a naval commander, colonial governor and scientist. Quite the interesting figure.

She is larger, driven by both luxury and potential use as a hospital ship, faster (32 knots top speed compared to 21.5) and equipped with a very sophisticated combination of communications and protective systems. In terms of dimensions, she is 629ft x 70ft x 20ft compared to 417ft x 55ft x 15ft; those who appreciate parallels will see that the former is very close to the Edinburgh class light cruisers of @.

No, she is a royal yacht, just as there is a difference between Buck House and Queen Anne Mansions. It is designed for the personal use of the Royal Family, and thus features elements one might not find on even a luxury transport, such as a helipad, swimming pool, cinema, ballroom, state dining room, garage, library and indoor garden.

What is all this production based upon?
Answer: Goals set in 1964 and 1965 in ANJ and other stories:
MBT: 7680 Regular + 8640 TA (+ 3260 reserve) 19580 AFV: 9600 Regular + 9600 TA (+ 3840 reserve) 23040 APC: 16200 Regular + 18000 TA (+ 4800 reserve) 36000
IMV: 10000 Regular + 10000 TA (+ 4800 reserve) 24800 MAV: 2400 Regular + 1600 TA (+ 2400 reserve) 6400 LAV: 4000 Regular + 2400 TA (+ 2400 reserve) 8800 AMC: 5200 Regular + 4800 TA (+ 2400 reserve) 12400
Regular Army Target Small Arms Stocks (including spares/reserves) Battle Rifles: 1,500,000 Assault Rifles: 1,000,000 SMGs/Carbines: 500,000 LMGs: 240,000 GPMGs: 120,000 HMGs: 60,000 Maxim AC: 10,000 AGL: 5000 Longbow: 50,000
By 1971/72, a,) the MBT goals have been fulfilled, allowing surplus sales of older Chieftains and the build up of additional reserves (in turn leading to older stocks of Centurions being downgraded and disposed of and WW2 produced Crusader tanks scrapped or sold off); b.) FV-432 APC production is tantalisingly close to its goal, with further residual production to be devoted to export; c.) FV 525 Warrior AFV production is now being devoted to equipped the TA and is going to be reduced during the 1970s to that end; d.) Centaur IMV (similar to the BTR-70) production has a few years to go to equip the Regulars, but after that, production will go towards export and gradually equipping the TA e.) The Challenger MAV is into 'spares build up' territory and after 1972 will be, once again, cut right back for export f.) Sentinel LAV production, like the MAV, is right on the cusp of being tacked back g.) Saladin Armoured Mobile Carrier (a battle taxi combination of the Saxon and Ratel)...once again, is about to be cut back as the full program is on the verge of completion

Yes, very much so. Britain, like the other superpowers, has a lot of equipment in reserve.

Yes, very much so. Britain, like the other superpowers, has a lot of equipment in reserve. And of course tanks get damaged and worn out i assume.

Very, very few. Consider the @ Cold War experience of reserve stocks and tank attrition. Damage to a tank usually means putting on a new track, replacing the engine or other such repair; they are fairly resilient vehicles, not throwaway items. As a result, the British Empire’s tank stocks are fairly deep - only in 1972 are they starting to dispose of WW2 era Crusader tanks. The inactive stockpile consists of Super Crusaders and earlier Centurions, then the active stockpile of later Centurions and the 125mm Armed Super Centurions, then the war reserve stocks of quite new Chieftains.

only in 1972 are they starting to dispose of WW2 era Crusader tanks. Scrap ore conversion ore are the countries who could use them
