That's fine. I'm not an expert Minecraft player myself, seeing as I've never been great with Redstone and still have relatively basic things to master (i.e. Enchantment).  Still, there are some cool mods I'm looking at downloading, which will probably become a staple aspect of 'Minecraft Thread' discussion, alongside the upcoming 1.17 update coming to Vanilla Minecraft. But for now, I digress. In the past we also had The Astra Minecraft Server Thread that spanishspy was a member of, but i do not know if that is still ongoing. Interesting, thanks. Doesn't look like it's been updated in a while, given the last post was from a few years ago. Fortunately, I've ameliorated that; ' The Minecraft Thread' is now up and running. |

As a twist on the usual ASB scenario, in which past presidents are nabbed from their time periods to run in one giant and chaotic election in the present, what about a 'Presidential Runner-Ups Run In 2020'? In which case, ASB would pluck every presidential nominee who finished in second place, and have them run for office in 2020.
My first guess is that this would best be suited to the ASB thread. However, if the election date makes it more apropos for Politics and Current Affairs, then I'll either a) place it there or b) adjust the scenario so that it happens in 2016, instead.

Even if most of the people running don't have much of an executive record to point towards, it'll still make for an insane election. Probably the craziest we've ever had, given the crowded field and grab-bag of new issues the candidates would raise. |
