Since I've recently started to research it, I wanted to create a thread titled something along the lines of "No Intellectual Property Laws", the premise of which is pretty self-explanatory.
However, I'm unsure about which forum it belongs in. I was thinking that due to its impossibility in real life, it should go in the ASB section. At the same time, I fear that such a thread could incite too much dialogue about current events to belong anywhere but Political Chat. Or, perhaps there's some other section altogether that this proposed thread should fit into--if putting it up is allowed at all, at least.
If I were to start a discussion on "No Intellectual Property Laws", where should it be placed?
Thank you in advance, Zyobot

The first such laws were after all written in the 17th century.

I have another proposed thread idea: The Novice's General-Purpose Reading List, or something along those lines. Essentially, I'd be looking for recommended resources on pretty much any academic subject, from law, to economics, to technology, you name it--specifically for someone who knows little about these in the first place.
Where should this thread go, provided that I'm allowed to put it up?
Thank you again, Zyobot

I have yet a third proposed thread idea: "Pre-21st Century Sci-Fi w/Knowledge of Modern STEM?"--or something titled similarly to that, anyway. Essentially, its purpose would be to discuss how pre-2000s sci-fi would look if its creators magically became aware of modern science and technology.
At first glance, it makes most sense to me that it should go in the ASB forum. But since it deals with a reimagining of fictional works, perhaps the Media Hub would be best? Or, does it fit somewhere else entirely if the staff permit it?

So, I've been thinking for a bit, and it turns out that I now have a fourth proposed thread: AHC- Republican North, Democratic South (or something to that effect). For those who are unfamiliar with that aspect of American politics, it means that the Deep South wouldn't switch from Democratic to Republican, while the Northern US evolves into an uber-conservative voting bloc.
Where would this thread go, if the staff would allow it?

I now have a fifth proposed thread idea that, once again, involves the same political bloc: mid-21st Century Deep South to some point during 1960--an election year that was originally between JFK and R. Nixon IOTL, but is bound to be shook up by the uptimers.
Since this scenario features a Southern US from at least couple decades from now, I suppose I should wait a while before I put it up (if this forum is still around, that is)?
I could've done a 2018 ISOT instead, but I wanted to give modern politics time to cool down so that such a scenario would possibly go (more) smoothly due to a unified uptimer base.
