Unsure Where to Put Proposed Thread?

How about a 'Real Life Palpatine' thread? That is, discussing the possibility and/or implications of a powerful and malevolent figure(s) manipulating world events behind the scenes in order to amass total power for themselves? Or, is that too conspiratorial to discuss here (outside of, perhaps, writing a completely fictional piece on the subject)?

If so, while I'd certainly welcome discussion of conniving real-life figures who overthrow a decaying government and install their own, I was mainly considering a politician who worms their way into an already-existing government and progressively takes it over until they've officially become a dictator. Ditto if they have bottomless resources and countless years of planning behind them, which Palpatine enjoyed via the Rule of Two pulling strings behind the scenes centuries before he was born. But yeah, since I'm guessing we don't have someone who's a perfectly direct counterpart to him in real life, maybe I'll put it in Future History, since such an individual could probably rise in the future. Especially with the way things are going now, escalating division and crisis aplenty. 

That would be a different forum where there are those rules, here as far as i know, no rules to post it in any board exist, as long as readers can see it is a DBWI.

Could be also in the General Historical Discussion if it is none AH related, can always move it to Politics and Current Affairs if needed.

We had this Minecraft - picture and discusion Thread in the Media Hub, but it is over 5 years old and not much has posted in it, create a new one in the Media hub if you want to, you do not need to put II behind it, just call it Minecraft discussion Thread if you want too.

Have not played it in a long time so i do not know how much i can discuses about it.
