Even though it’d probably go in ‘Politics and Current Affairs’ if I posted it now, I assume that after the 2020 election happens, ‘2016 Western US To 1976’ would belong in the ASB board? Yep, that is correct.

Yep, that is correct. I thought so. How about '1964 Lyndon Johnson Vs. 1972 Richard Nixon', which I'm uncertain about due to how many of these matchups I've proposed already?

That’s fair, though it’s more like an eight-year gap rather than a ten-year one (since that’s how the arithmetic works out).

How about ‘Which Subsequent Presidents Could’ve Surpassed LBJ’s Popular Vote’? Which, by the way, stands at approximately 61.1%—the highest proportion of the popular vote in modern history, exceeding even that of FDR, no matter when he ran.

Think Politics and Current Affairs is the good place to post it if it is not ASB material.

Although given how close they came IOTL, I've a feeling that incumbent FDR, 1972 Richard Nixon and 1984 Ronald Reagan could've at least matched that proportion of the popular vote had historical circumstances been tweaked somewhat. Maybe also Warren G. Harding in 1920, even though I know less about him than post-WW2 presidents.

Well if you think it is not going to be ASB and make sure that it does not violate the 4 year rule about politics, it can go to the After-1900 board.

Also, as another idea inspired by the AH.com version of the thread, what about a ‘Future Reactionary Backlash’ thread? I assume that due to its heavily political connotations and how at least something like it appears to have started taking place recently, it’d likely belong in the ‘Politics and Current Affairs’ board.

Assuming that discussion applies to the decades (and maybe centuries) to come, how about a ‘Future Dominant Geopolitical Powers’ thread? I’ve seen it suggested maybe once or twice on AH.com that would entail places like China and India resuming their hegemonic status while the West declines, which I find to be an interesting prediction.
And discussion of ‘How Would An Asteroid Belt Society Work’? almost certainly belongs in Future History, I assume.

What about a ‘Dinosaur Civilization’ thread? The ASB board is the first option that comes to mind, regarding where my idea probably belongs.

Well i know there is a book series called the Eden series written by Harry Harrison where dinosaurs rule and humans are just in the late stone age level of technology. I think the ASB board would be a good place to put this topic.

Thank you. How about ‘1963 JFK SI To 1933 FDR’?
