I'm thinking that a 'Libertarian GOP' thread--in which we'd discuss the ramifications of a socially liberal, fiscally conservative Republican Party with a libertarian-lite ideology--would belong in the 'After 1900' board? Or might it invoke current politics too much? As this would be discussion about politics, then it belongs in the Politics and Current Affairs board.

How about a 'Greco-Roman Industrial Revolution' thread? My first guess is 'Before 1900', but am wondering if that'd be so implausible as to instead belong in the ASB board.

You could try to post it in the 1900 board, if it becomes to implausible it can always be moved to the ASB board.

Best bet here might be that Rome never comes to predominance so there are a number of competing states, Rome, Carthage, Macedonia, Ptolemaic Egypt and Seleucid and possibly others. That gives incentives for new ideas for both warfare and economic means.

A Rome-Athens alliance, is that a possibility .

Possibly, although it would need some butterflies as by the time Rome dominated mainland Italy and hence became a regional power Athens was very much a minor power in Macedonian Greece. It still had a lot of prestige and Roman showed a lot of respect for classical Greece culture but that didn't stop them making sure the greater Greek region came under their control, by force if necessary.

How about 'Ronald Reagan Wins All 50 States In 1984'? Or Richard Nixon pulling off the same feat in 1972?

Thank you for the answer (though the likes of Nixon and Reagan still came damned close to that goalpost IOTL). Also, I assume that due to how politically tinged such a thread would be, a ‘Libertarian Post-Obama GOP’ PoD belongs in ‘Politics and Current Affairs’ for now? Because it explores the premise of the Republicans heading into 2016 with a more libertarian platform and possibly nominating someone who exudes those traits, becoming the party of someone like Justin Amash instead of Donald Trump (who helped drag the GOP in a more nationalistic, nativist direction IOTL).

Correct, that should be place in ‘Politics and Current Affairs board.

What about ‘Michael Bay Transformers To World War Two’, could that go in the ‘Fandom AH’ thread?

I'm thinking about doing a College Football thread as well as a College Football TL. Would it be ok putting it on the Hobbies & Sports section ?

What about a ‘How Would Uptimer-Downtimer Student Exchange Programs Work’, e.g. between the 2010s and 1970s as just one example?
