We are an American ally and given that we got involved in the Iraq cockup on their orders, which managed to replace one repressive dictatorship with another slightly less repressive one, I feel we would jump to the Israelis' aid if they were attacked by Russian/Iranian allied juntas; being the only liberal democracy in the Middle East tends to one's country well. (and before anyone starts up about Israeli "apartheid", Arab citizens - the "oppressed" group in Israel - have the same rights as all other Israelis, whether or not they are Jews. The same did not apply to black South Africans.) Not going to judge Israel, it might have its flaws and people might look at it and wonder what they are doing but i think we need to get this thread back into the rails and ask us, who would win a war as the first post says in the future becuase i would love seeing this ship, a Sa'ar 6-class corvette in action.
Well if it gets to the point that nukes start flying I think the answer would be no one. And I can't see them not if Israel started looking like it would lose and be wiped out.

Do not think that nukes go flying at the start, none of the Arab countries have nukes that we know of and Russia and China will most likely only use Nukes when Israel ore the United States start using them.

If its in the near future yes but if say in some sort of war of attrition Israel is losing and facing destruction I can see at the least a threat of nukes to try and get ceasefire and if the Muslims are confident/fanatical enough then Israel will start using nukes. At that point what does Russia/China/Pakistan/Iran [possibly] do?
Another nasty option here is if a terrorist group gets hold of a warhead and is able to smuggle it into Israel, although that could be difficult. Even if their caught before it goes off expect Israel to be very concerned/bloody enraged.

Seems the OP post says 2020, but i think we might have to move the date a bit as it is close to violate the Future History - 1 year rule.

Plus given the mess that Syria and Iraq are in, along with the traditional hostility between the two states and that Egypt and Jordan are on reasonably friendly terms with Israel it would take some drastic changes or a fair amount of time for a realistic threat to Israel to emerge.

True, i do not see any country in the region except Iran doing a proxy war using Hezbollah in Lebanon going to war with Israel any time in the future.

If Israel does go to war against its neighbours in the future, I imagine those Arab nations would have Turkish support or even led by Turkey.
