Today marks 70 years since the British Empire surrendered to the Allied Nations of Russia, Germany, America, and the Meditteranean Socialist Union (OOC: Iberia and Italy) after the nuking of Cardiff, ending the Second World War between the Allied Nations of Russia, China, Canada, Australia, Germany, America, and the MSU and the Sorelianist League (OOC: Sorelianism is TTL's Fascism) of Britain, France, and Japan where France was divided between North France and South France after Doriot's regime fell and Japan overthrew it's Sorelianist leaders in a military coup by Admiral Yamamoto, leading to Japan getting a lenient peace. So, your thoughts on this day?

Well, London was fire-bombed in a series of air raids via Lend-lease B-29s from December 1945 to May 1946 but Cardiff was untouched by air raids.

I think the fact that London was not nuked was because King George I (OOC: Prince Albert of York), king of the United Commonwealth made it clear that he wanted to preserve as much as London as could. Also what is your view on the power seizing by King Edward VIII in 1937 when he declared the foundation of the Holly British empire with him as emperor, the fleeing of his brother His Royal Highness Prince Albert of York and his family to Canada where he was crowned the first king of the United Commonwealth (consisting of Canada, Australia, India and New Zealand).

Yes, Edward VIII was aided by the British Sorelianist Alliance, led by Oswald Mosley in his seizure of power, leding to Britain being the most powerful Sorelianist power in WW2. BTW, what do you think was the biggest mistake the Sorelianists made in WW2?

BTW, what do you think was the biggest mistake the Sorelianists made in WW2? I think when the Holy British Empire sold Hong Kong and British Malaysia in 1939, they where one of the few colonies who remained with the Holy British Empire when it was formed and who did not join the United Commonwealth to the Empire of Japan, the selling caused the United Commonwealth to issue a ultimatum, stop the selling or it will be war, of course whe all know what happen, World War II breaking out between at first the United Commonwealth and the Holy British Empire and their allies.

I could argue another stupid mistake the Sorelians made was attacking the German Empire in 1942 with a sneak attack by the British Imperial Navy on Wilhelmshaven, where the Kaiserliche Marine was based and an invasion of the Netherlands and the Rhineland by the Third French Empire where a puppet Bonaparte provided legitimacy for the coalition of conservative militarists and the Sorelianist Party of France which ruled France since 1934, when Leon Blum was overthrown by a coup as Germany was allied with the Russian Empire and had close ties with the United States of America.

I never could have figured out why the Holy British Empire attack the German Empire who until the Wilhelmshaven attack in 1942 was neutral in the war between the United Commonwealth and the Holy British Empire, could it be that they wanted the Third French Empire as their ally and and thus they attacked the German Empire in order to force the Third French Empire into joining them or was it a demand of the Third French Empire that they would only join the Holy British Empire if they where in war with the German Empire.

Declassified documents suggest that the latter as probably the main reason they attacked Germany and that the French, under a triumvirate of Philippe Petsin, Jacques Doriot, and Francois De la Rouque, were worried about the possibility that the Chinese would take Indochina after the war if they won. Also, I could argue that the Russian Empire was an Allied Power unofficially since 1941 since they passed a resolution allowing Russia to aid Wang Jingwei's Chinese Empire and the United Commonwealth, led by Mackenzie King against Sadao Araki's Japan and Oswald Mosley and Edward VIII's British Empire.

Yes, the Russian Empire together with the United States where the main force that took charge in winning the war.

It's amazing that the Meditteranean Socialist Union got Southern France after the war and that they got Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia as well under the leadership of Benito Mussolini (OOC: He was a socialist before founding Fascism) and how bad would Operation Sealion (OOC:TTL's analogue to Operation Downfall) have been for the British and the Allies? Would it have been as bad as what zeldaxlove64's Decisive Darkness timeline would have portrayed it as or would Britain have thrown the towel anyway?

I think the Allies would have face massive causalities if they had gone ahead with Operation Sealion, that why they chose the lesser of two evil and doped the A-bomb on Cardiff, ending the Second World War.
