‘Benito Mussolini Remains A Socialist’. Granted, he’d probably be more of a “Red fascist” strongman akin to Stalin or the Kim Dynasty, but whatever. That is, if he still comes to power. And what will all the other fascists do? Will they become his opponents?

Not a PoD, but something for CP victory TLs: Until November 1914, the German ambassador in Italy had threatened to restore the Papal States if they weren't honoring their alliance. Of course IOTL things went differently...

Interesting and never heard that before. I wonder if it was another case of Wilhelmian 'diplomacy' as I suspect that would anger more Italians than cower them. There's a clear threat that if Italy doesn't join the CPs then in the latter win they will attack and dismember Italy. [Since a restored Papal State would split the country in half and also its likely that they would suspect Austria would be 'rewarded' by regaining some of its former territories in N Italy].

I read this new fact in "Behemoth" by Franz Neumann.
Regarding the new border between A-H and Italy, I read somewhere else that they only wanted to annex the mountainous territory along the border - good for defense, but as few Italians as possible.

Interesting. What I've read in the past was that was what the Austrians already had. They had sought after 1866 to secure a border that not only protected the German populations in border areas but also give the best defensive positions for a new war with Italy. Which was a major reason why Italy struggled to make progress in WWI OTL. Not sure what they would have thought as a better position but in the event of a CP victory where Italy has been hostile and Germany was thinking of recreating the Papal States as a significant region in Italy - which would of course include Rome - Austria might decide, or be encouraged by Berlin to be more ambitious.
Does it say where you read it what border changes Austria desired?

Sorry, I can't remember. Then again, at this time, many plans for the post-war world were around in the CPs, often contradictory. Not a good idea!

My first guess: China has a higher population, but a smaller GDP (at least, per head).

WI Prussian crown prince became Reichspräsident in 1932, with Hitler as chancellor? Papen and Schleicher were behind this, but the ex-kaiser forbade it. WI he hadn't, or the crown prince had defied him? On the one hand, the nazis could have started rearmament one year earlier - OTOH, the emperor might become a shackle for the "führer" (similar as the Italian monarchy for the "Duce"), and getting rid of him wouldn't be as easy as with Röhm.

WI during Barbarossa 1941/42, there had been a longer Rasputitsa, but a milder winter? The former would rather favor the Red Army, but the latter the Wehrmacht.

What if Bolsonaro's family is in Istria so he is born in Croatia? How would that affect the politics of Croatia in general?

WI the Allies had decided in August 1939 to give in, reluctantly and with a hold nose, just one more time, and give Danzig to Germany? Sure, I expect that the war will still happen - but when? And how might this change everything which happened afterwards? To mention one thing, the Germans would have more ammo and so on available.
