Found this on my computer, while I do not know if I am going to work on it more i want to now if anybody wants to find out more of this timeline.
January 8th 1934
He woke up sweating and breathing heavily, the last thing he remembered was being onboard his ship when it sank, now looking around he noticed that he was in his personal study, a room he knew he was not supposed to be in. After looking around he noticed a Telegraaf laying on his desk and when he looked at the date he was in for a surprise as the date was January 8th 1934, almost 8 years in the past. Deciding that he needed some fresh air he walked into the garden his fiancé was proud of he wondered was everything a nightmare or did something bring him back from the death in order for him to be have a second change to prevent all the horrors that where yet to come.
January 9th 1934
Kapitein-Luitenant Ter Zee (Commander) Karel Doorman knew nobody would believe him so he decided for the moment to keep everything a secret until he had figured everything out and gain some answers. Having arrived at his office located at the Den Helder naval base he decided that first he needed to write as many things down before he forgot them and then second find some people he could trust to aid him.
January 12th 1934
The papers whit his notes on where laying on his desk and on the ground, his staff wondered what was going on and his fiancé was worried about his health due him getting little sleep but after three days of writing everything down what he knew Commander Doorman was finished, of course some things would pop up in his head but for the time being he had written down everything he knew, all the events that where to take place in the next 8 years and all the ships, planes and things that he knew where yet to be build.

Kapitein-Luitenant Ter Zee Karel Doorman did not know why had this strange urge to go to Amsterdam and visit the Nieuwe Kerk (English: New Church), but after three days of writing things down he decided that maybe this strange urge would give him some answers and therefore he decided to go. When he walked to the Ruyter's mausoleum inside the church he noticed four other men standing there talking with each other and when approached them one of them turned to him and simple said, you are like us are you not.

A day after the encounter at the Nieuwe Kerk, five men sat in the home of Frederick Koolhoven, the men who were: Frederick Koolhoven, Kapitein-Luitenant Ter Zee Karel doorman, Captain Simon Hendrik Spoor, Hub van Doorne and Jannes Johannes Cornelis van Dijk. They did not know what happened to them nor why they woke up in 1934 but after some talking they all came to the conclusion that they had to do something they were given a second change to set things straight.
Kapitein-Luitenant Ter Zee Karel doorman (current the Chief of Staff of the naval commander in Den Helder but at his death in 1942 was in command of Combined Striking Force of ABDACOM with the rank of rear-admiral).
Frederick Koolhoven (current aircraft designer and owner of Koolhoven aircraft and who died in 1946).
Captain Simon Hendrik Spoor (current a teacher of strategy and tactics at the Royal Military Academy in Breda but at his death in 1949 was the army commander in the Netherlands East Indies with the rank of lieutenant general)
Jannes Johannes Cornelis van Dijk (current a member of parliament but also Minister of Defense from 1937 to 1939 and who died in 1954).
Hub van Doorne (current co-owner of DAF and who died in 1979).

Two days after their first encounter and after some heated discussion by the circle of five as they jokily called them self it was decided that only way to prevent the horrors of the future was to begin re-armament of the Netherlands at once, but they also came to the conclusion that at the current time none of them where in the position to change much except for one person which was Jannes Johannes Cornelis van Dijk who in his function as member of parliament could use some of his influence in the government to try to convince the current prime minster Hendrikus Colijn and also a member of his party the Anti-Revolutionary Party (Dutch: Anti-Revolutionaire Partij, ARP) without telling him the truth as he most likely would not believe him that the Netherlands should begin re-armament at once now that there was still time as a stronger Netherlands would be a difficult target for the Germans to overcome.

Prime Minister of the Netherlands Hendrikus Colijn announces that he is replacing current Minister of Defense Laurentius Nicolaas Deckers with Jannes Johannes Cornelis van Dijk.
