Queen Victoria having been born a boy like in this thread was sometimes brought up at ze other forum a couple of times by Yours Truly. The Anglo-Saxons really don't like the AH issue (!) usually dimissed by "Parliament wouldn't like it so its got ridden of" but it is rather interesting not least from my Danish perspective.
In relation to the old thread linked the Godfather of said child was the Russian Tsar Alexander so said girl might have been christened Alexandra and hence why Alexander could be his name if born male. Said childs predessors on the British Throne had some interest in their original fief he could quite have such too if only because of lineage and other silly nobility stuff. Lineage is important to nobility!
Even if Parliament doesn't like having this millstone around its neck the boy may not like to be getting rid of it. If so that may have some effect upon history - with William IV passing away 1837 the boy will become King of Great Britain and Hanover. Is the real issue that he would be a sovereign in Great Britain not so much in Germany? (Austrian Emperor!)
The test would be 1848 - will the German Confederation dare take the stance on Great Britain as it did against Denmark?

Perhaps Queen Victoria can be named as Alexandra with Sandra as her common known name.

As you say it raises some issues depending on how he develops and whether he's more liberal or conservative, plus how Britain - especially Parliament and hence those with political and economic power - views the link with Hanover. There could be nationalistic pride over the link or the dislike of being 'shackled' to Hanover and hence dragged deeper into German politics. It could go any number of ways and either minimal difference to German unification or a serious possibly fatal block on Prussia forming a militaristic German empire. You could see Germany either being unified in different ways or remaining a loose confederation. Any of those ways but especially the latter would make a huge difference to European and hence world history.

I don't expect Prussia ITTL to go to war against either Britain over Hanover or Denmark over the Duchies should the German Confederation 1848 want to get rid of either ruler; going against one of the two may well drag the other into the mess and You have Russia on the sideline as a very partial referee - not disposed to side with Prussia against any legal ruler. The mere thought of provoking Britain should be enough - and Bismarck haven't said anything of having the Prussian Police arrest the British if they land in Germany. Prussia may still want to stall any attempt at democratic change in any German state as it did and do so as it wouldn't have to fight a real war besides. If there is no Prussian - Danish War there is no blockade of German ports thus another perception in Germany of Denmark.
