The Finale of third season, was mixture of the Martian, The Right Stuff, Terror and losses
it will have deep impact on season 4 !

The last episode will surely have lasting consequences for season four. For me, this is this timeline's 911 attack or maybe it's Oklahoma City bombing. It sure has the look and feel of those two dark days. Based on the newspaper it's around that time in 1995. From the gutting look post-attack to the fact we have somebody going back for more people only to die later.
But what a way to end the season. This show has had some batshit ideas but I have to admit having a front row seat to the stars is something I never saw coming. Not sure how wise it was to have her be subject to that much g-force while she is clearly pregnant but its a show so logic has to give somewhat for the cool rule to take effect.

Looking at the remains of the building, it think its the FAM version of the Oklahoma City bombing. |

That would make sense seeing as that was in April of 1995. So in this timeline, this type of attack was done around September 5th, 1995. I do hope that when we get the recap of what happened from 1995-2003 we see that the twin towers remain standing. A few times we see them in the news reports so it would be nice to have those survive in 2001.
If the show picks up in 2003 that means the first space baby would be around seven years old. I don't think we ever found out what the sex of the child was. I'm hoping it's a girl because I think having a girl be the first spacer would be a nice thing to see the show do.

Mars Gravity is 1/3 of Earth , so Popeye needed far lower G-force to get up in LM during lunar mission the Astronauts stand during landing and ascent because lower gravity of moon of 1/6 of earth This here is the Oklahoma City bombing in TL there will be no 9/11 in this TL ! One: after JSC bombing the FBI and rest will do anything to prevent that ever again. Two: the USA have a abandon the Middle East in begin of 1990s, they're not even intervene in Iraq invasion of Kuwait! and USSR never put a Foot in Afghanistan, means Osama bin Laden could be a party animal in Jet set world... |

[ there will be no 9/11 in this TL ! Unless it happens in space which might happen in the preview for the 1996 to 2003 period that they need to fill in. |

I still think911 can still happen. All that needs to happen is somebody else gets the idea to use planes as makeshift weapons. It isn't like people haven't taken over airliners before that point. None drive them into anything. That was why the attacks were so successful. The idea anybody would use planes as missiles never entered into their heads.

Well by FAM 2001 we see more space tourism, we have seen what a small piece of space debri can do to a space hotel. |

Well the makers of the TV series do like to use a lot of what happen OTL but change it as it provides them with images they can show. |

Man, I would love to see how the Jamestown base is doing in the 21st century. We saw them doing tests some ways away from the colony/base itself in the opening episodes of season three soI bet by the 2000s it's able to house hundreds of people.
I know the focus is on Mars but surely we can get something showing off the first Moonbase in the opening years of the 2000s.

Given Mars is the planet given to the Greek god of war I wouldn't be too surprised if they named it with something linking it to him or one of his brothers and sisthers. It would be a fitting name.
