I'm really confused as to why Pittsburgh, Denver, or Seattle would be attacked before Houston and way before Dallas, although I am happy that I would of survived if this where real... Anyway, with DC and 14 other major US cities gone, I think the new American capital might be Dallas. It's a large inland city, with a fast growing population, and compared to the other fourth wave cities, it's really no competition. Especially with a Southern president (Bill Clinton) and no other real Southern cities. Additionally, does anyone no where "Republique Nationale" is? I can't find where it is in the DRC. Only thing i can find is this: National Republic of UmbutuI could see other African breakaway regions try to secede like Somaliland and South Sudan. |

Not just in Africa I would suspect, with the level of destruction, especially of capital cities and facilities for central government to function.

Very nice list, well thought out. Sadly, on this list, I'm dead. Good work. It is still not perfect but, thank you. The list on Page One of this thread, the one from the movie studio, has Vladivostok as a first strike target and places such as Macau and Monaco on it: very bad choices! It does have Wuhan though, which jumped out at me. |

It does have Wuhan though, which jumped out at me. Haha, yes that jumped out at me too. Macau definitely won’t be one there, and maybe Monaco in a later wave, after Lyon, Nice, Milan, or other nearby cities |

Good point on Macau. Given what's been described I would have expected that Macau would be crippled if not destroyed by the Hong Kong attack. Definitely no point having Monaco on the list unless the aliens really, really hate gambling.

Good point on Macau. Given what's been described I would have expected that Macau would be crippled if not destroyed by the Hong Kong attack. Definitely no point having Monaco on the list unless the aliens really, really hate gambling.

Macau would still be hit by the blast wave. As for Hong Kong, it was stated to have become a Sino-British enclave after the war. |
