Thanks to the gentlemen on this forum I found motivation to restart a F1 TL once made "under cover" at AH.com.
POD 1985, in the turbo era. Basically: Bernie Ecclestone Brabham has a worse year than OTL. And since Ecclestone was already "the dark lord of F1", all kind of interesting things will happen.
Four men, 146 victories, 11 world titles between them.
When F1 cars really looked the part... 1500 hp in qualification in 1986.
The name is obviously a pun on Game of thrones. I loved The Tudors and got a crush on Natalie Dormer... who played the role of Margaery Tyrell in Games of thrones and - coincidentally - an extremely hot nurse in Ron Howard Rush (highly recommended movie, incidentally).

Well as long as the legends of F1 stay the legends, ore will we get new F1 legends.

See the four above ? Unlike Hamilton or Shumacher, they were NOT alone dominating F1. And that's what made that F1 era all the more fascinating. Senna and Prost disputes, sure, but Mansell and Piquet, too. And sometimes they blended together: Piquet and Prost (1983), Senna and Piquet, Mansell against everyone else.
I remember reading about Mansell up and (many) downs in a magazine when I was a kid (1991-92) and laughing loud. That man really had some unbelievable jinx. And when the jinx was not present, he had bouts of sheer craziness, a bit like Eric Cantonna, incidentally.
Prost was a cold-blooded calculator.
Senna has a definite messiah touch - he drove like a god.
Piquet was a cynical prankster.
Mansell was a crazy underdog.
The gist here: I want to throw two more pilots into the fight. Two extraordinary individuals that never got a real chance to shine, since they tragically died some months appart.

Bingo for the second one. Bellof. Now look at 1986 Stefan Bellof was a terrific pilot. Monaco 1984 is reminded as Senna D-day, but Bellof was coming fast to eating both Prost and Senna (whose car had a damaged suspension).

Seems there is also a YouTube clip of his fetal crash, WARNING it might be shocking to some.

Hmmm... wrong dead F1 pilot. That was Paletti 1982, one month after Villeneuve.
No footage exist of De Angelis death, it was during private practice.
