More seriously: there has been many waves of superheroes movies. Superman shot first, in the late 70's.
Then Batman, in the late 80's.
And by the 2000's there was an explosion of superheroes movies. Including Spiderman. In fact we have been continuously fed with Marvel and DC superheroes movies since 2007 - so far, at least 50 have been done or are in planning.
Think about "disaster movies" or westerns (including spaghetti ones) but all of them related; the stories are interwined.
There has been movies with standalone heroes (Wonderwoman, Thor, Spiderman, iron Man) and then more movies with them fighting together a "super-threat".
Same for Batman & Superman. They have fought together in movies.

I’ve heard a lot about the 2016 election being trouble. What exactly happened? Better not to talk about this one... Indeed, it is. As such, I think we'll have to wait at least until 2020 passes before we can talk about 2016 here (due to the rules of the forum we're participating on). Plus, the 2016 election and the geopolitical situation leading up to it have lots of moving parts and cumulative cultural and social changes to them that'd make it very hard for an under-informed Seventies person to follow beyond the most reductive, cursory summary. |
