It is, as with all major cities in the world. Keep in mind the 2004 elections were coming up. i know just to plan an idea on Zombies overrun Manila then Cebu and Mindanao on POV. Cebu and Mindanao would have been overrun as well. Don't forget the AFP in 2004 is weak. |

Since the countryside will have less zombies, yes. The Muslim insurgents such as Abu-Sayaff would say that the zombie virus is the punishment of Allah towards the infidels. the Ilaga been mobilized for this one. The Ilaga would have acted like the posse seen in the original 1978 film and the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead.  This picture shows how heavily armed the Ilagas are. Their weapons range from WWII to Cold War. They may team up with the CAFGU as well. But remember they would be dealing with fast-at-first zombies. It would take another two months for the decay to set in to reduce them to shamblers. Shooting a running zombie at the head is difficult. Here's two scenes for reference on how militias would fare against slow zombies. Rednecks vs zombies (Dawn of the Dead - 1978)

The religious cults would be a secondary enemy. |

Now imagine this cult releasing zombies to safezones within Mindanao? can been far more worst while the AFP Police Civilians NPA Rebels Ilaga CAFGU MILF and MNLF had to team up and defending the safe zones in Mindanao from zombies and the Cults Raiders and more. i wonder what kind of Raiders of the philippines look like. |
