Safe to say no sporting events due to the Crossed virus. I hope 2019 Miss Universe Zozini Tunsi of South Africa is well guarded with heavy security. I think sadly she is not high on the list of people in South Africa who will get that kind of protection ore security. I hope Miss USA, Miss Teen USA are well-guarded too since the 2020 Miss Universe pageant likely got postponed due to the Crossed virus. I can't imagine how the Olympic athletes are handling this. |

So you need to really, really makes sure no one with access to nuclear or biological weapons get infected! Especially since such a strike is likely to prompt a reaction from the target. Going to be to easy to add a definitely unwanted thermonuclear exchange to this disaster.

If i recall correctly, but maybe ukron can confirm they killed those who had knowledge to nuclear or biological knowledge like nuclear reactors and such. You can read it here in the Crossed (comics) Wikipedia article: The contagion spread across the entire world, with the Crossed killing, raping, engaging in cannibalism and maiming for fun, with governments and military overwhelmed; friends and family butchered each other with anything they lay their hands on, and cities were turned into vast charnel houses. Much of the Middle East was wiped out when Israel deployed nuclear weapons. The last organized act by the U.S. government was to shut down as many nuclear power plants as possible and then kill the nuclear scientists and technicians to prevent them from reactivating the plants. A few nuclear power plants were not reached in time, however, such as Wolf Creek in Kansas and Browns Ferry in Alabama, detonated by Crossed who removed the control rods. One by one, the remaining military bases are overrun. Soon human civilization is all but gone, and mankind is an increasingly-endangered species.

Of course, in the Crossed Comics, such situation happened as Israeli and Pakistani officials are presumed infected and push the red button, nuking India and Middle East. In fact, it was even said that Indian gov refuse to nuke Pakistan in retaliation arguing that it won't change anything. By the way, in "The Thin Red line", Russian Tu-95 pilots infected decide to nuke some NATO cities as in America, the last US federal gov orders was to execute Nuclear specialists in order to avoid that they bring on nuclear reactors mealtdown if they are infected.
