This is a flag I had done on AH.com by one of the flag-makers there. It's my proposal for a Canadian Naval Ensign, one that would incorporate the design of the old White Ensign inherited from the Royal Navy, but with the National Flag of Canada in the canton and with the cross being dark navy blue.

Hi! Sorry to bother people here, but I have a request. I'm making badges for the Royal Canadian Naval Reserves in the timeline created by redrobin65, but I'm somewhat pants concerning Microsoft Paint 3D. I'd like to get a trillium flower (not a caricature of one) put into the green field of the badge I'm enclosing here:

Looks good but you do realise now Donald will know where to send the FBI to arrest a suspected secessionist. 
The current - presumably that's the RL one? - tries to give a 3D image which does make it looks rather like a starfish stranded by the tide with some blue seaweed attached. Or possibly some sort of face-huger alien about to pounce.

Looks good but you do realise now Donald will know where to send the FBI to arrest a suspected secessionist.
The current - presumably that's the RL one? - tries to give a 3D image which does make it looks rather like a starfish stranded by the tide with some blue seaweed attached. Or possibly some sort of face-huger alien about to pounce.
Secessionist? It's just a municipal flag for my city. If I was going to be secessionist about it, I'd prefer all of California left at once. And yeah, the thingy in the middle is supposed to be a flower while the blue bits are a creek that runs through the middle of the city. My new design simplifies all of it and makes it more perky and not dying. |

I was joking about your TL, where you not only have a larger California but shatter the entire union pretty much. Ah, yeah, that one. Hope that's not too out there for you. And don't you worry, California can still get larger. |

Not for me.
So we can see armoured corps storming across the Mississippi in the 20thC Seriously it could well be the dominant power in the western US given the demographics so Cascadia, the Plains confederation and even much of Texas could end up in its sphere while there are possibilities in the south as well. Just tell the Californians to keep their filthy hands off Canada understand! |
