On the WWI thread you have:
Suspect you mean either miles or kilometers? Otherwise millimeters would be a very limited advance indeed. Steve
Well we are talking about the Austro-Hungarian army, but I will edit it.

On the WWII thread you have:
I suspect this bit has been telescoped together as to my understanding the Italians are defending Valona while the Greeks have occupied largely unoccupied mountainous regions of little strategic value.
Otherwise looking good.

On the WWI thread:
The last paragraph is really a copy of the earlier part, see above, so might be best removing it.

lordroel ,
A couple of points with today's WWII post. a) You have
b) Also you have two entries for the bombing of Liverpool, one under "Air War in Europe" and one under "Battle of the Atlantic" that have a large amount of overlap. Although the latter one does have more details on the ships lost/damaged so possibly two separate entries are merited?

One thing with the WWII update today. HMS Renown at ~30,000 tons and with 6x15" guns is definitely a battlecruiser rather than an heavy cruiser - which at this time is reserved for ships of about 7-12,000 ton with 8" guns.

lordroel , On today's WWII you have a mention of Soviet exercises in preparation for a German invasion you have "The exercises are to begin on January 2nd 1940". Guessing this should be 1941.

lordroel , On yesterday's WWII post a couple of points I noticed. - Wasn't up when I 1st checked the site because you were waiting for the Youtube video and I didn't get around to checking later, sorry.
a) In reporting the Luftwaffe attacks on HMS Southampton you initially refer to her as an heavy cruiser, then in the next paragraph as a light cruiser. Checking on Wiki HMS_Southampton, the ship was one of those that kind of fitted both categories, weighting nearly 10,000 tons but being armed with 6" rather than 8" guns. However due to their guns their normally classified as light rather than heavy cruisers.
b) Technically the Kerguelen Islands are in the Indian Ocean [or south of it in the Antarctic Ocean depending on the boundaries] rather than the Pacific. Only a small quibble but since I'm mentioning the other point.

So with the Gulf War 1991 - Operation Desert Storm in real time to start soon, we need of course some new small real time wars, the one currently being worked on is the:
Anglo-Zanzibar War of 1896.
I hoop to get other smaller wars in real time posted this year as well.

Isn't that the war that lasted about 30 minutes? Not going to be a lot to cover there. See Anglo-Zanzibar_War for a bit more detail.
I have been thinking would it be worthwhile, as the number grows that completed day by day threads that completed ones be relocated to a sub-folder under the main one. Otherwise the list of completed threads stuck to the top of the this one is going to get longer and longer. Any currently active non-sticky threads could end up a page or two down shortly. Noticed I'm sometimes missed new posts in such threads because their some way below the window my browser gives and have to remember to scroll down.
