In this scenario, various German dialects might also become a bit more important and popular as well. For instance, Yiddish (a German dialect spoken by the Ashkenazi Jews living in Europe) would also gain prominence among the Jews living within the Holy Roman Empire. In fact, an intact Jewish merchant class living under Imperial rule (as well as Jews inside Greater Spain) would become the engine that keeps the economies of the HRE (plus its allies and vassals) and Spain going. Add Poland-Lithuania and Sweden into the scenario, and you would have a proto-EU that would span from Lisbon to Kiev and Vitebsk. Naturally, German (plus its dialects) would become the dominant language of every industry and commerce in Europe. In this scenario, the HRE would be better off building small settler colonies and establish several trading ports that could generate profit from their trade with Africa and Asia.

That does assume that all three of those blocs and all others are going to stay friendly with each other for a prolonged period of time.
Also that they also remain tolerant of the Jews, which is probably unlikely especially if the latter are playing a big role in banking and finance. That's going to be an additional reason/excuse for persecuting them.
German might be the language that emerges as dominant but there are a lot of other languages in the empire and Latin was still the lingua franca of the time. Don't forget that, IIRC correctly when Charles V made his comments about use of his many languages German was used for his horse.
