Also, why do they speak Russian? It's one thing if that's an effect of the transfer, but Galactic Basic standard (the default language of the Star Wars universe) is already confirmed to be identical to English... Ok  let it be English then Thanks. (No problem with ASB making them suddenly speak Russian, but just wanted to know if that was an affect of the ISOT.) Presuming English and Galactic Basic are identical (minus small terminology differences), Republic forces would communicate well with the Anglos and Americans. Both are more trustworthy and politically closer to what the non-communist arrivals are used to, anyway, though bombarding Germany from above will still spare the Soviets from having to pay the worst butcher's bill of them all. |
