They'd probably do okay, if I had to guess. Klingons--warlike as they may be--are too honorable for that line of work, while Ferengi Sith might resemble a less cerebral and contemplative Darth Plagueis (who was a Muun, which is Star Wars' equivalent to them). A Cardassian could be even more suited, due to their species combining negative traits of the first couple aforementioned ones, on top of their backstabbing tendencies. "Treachery is the way of the Sith," as is often said in the EU.
Well that brought a laugh. Ah, I see what you did there. But I meant something quite different when I said EU, as you can likely deduce.

That's what I assumed but given the problems here and Barnier up to his old tricks it wasn't what I 1st thought of and I couldn't resist a laugh. Sith controlled EU - along with probably much of the establishment here and around the world would explain a lot!

To move onto another frivolous fandom idea, 'Abe Lincoln SI To Chancellor Palpatine In 22 BBY', just after the Battle of Geonosis and therefore at the start of the Clone Wars to be specific. He'd retain Old Sheev's memories with the possible exception of his double-life as Darth Sidious, so he'd be familiar with the technology and such that he's interacting with on a routine basis.

'ROTJ Darth Vader To Sequel Trilogy'. Maybe he'd make a far more game-changing difference(s) if he were sent back to the Prequels instead, but I already plan to explore that.

'The Martian Texas To July 1, 1969', or between then and when the American moon landings wrap up in 1972. Or better yet, TTL's 2035 Lone-Star State could be sent to the For All Mankind setting.

‘Andy Weir SI To Mark Watney’. The former would arrive at the beginning of the latter’s ordeal and be bestowed with his knowledge and memories, just so that he doesn’t, well, die on Mars without a fight.

'Libertarian Darth Vader'. The adjective and the noun here don't normally go together, but whatever.

I believe those were part of the Star Wars: Infinities series?

Indeed. I believe those were part of the Star Wars: Infinities series? Yep, you are 100 % right. Heh. I wonder what the probability of actually finding a hippie and/or libertarian Darth in one of those Infinities TLs must be. Personally, I’m interested in a do-whatever, maybe even anarcho-capitalistic Sith who liberally uses the Dark Side, but also believes in the NAP. Such an OC of mine would make for a striking contrast to the domineering, power-hungry Dark Lords we’re typically familiar with, but I digress for now.
