Lets put those 9 ships there, i think they are enough to secure a planet and wait and observe. Very well. Do they come from Canon or Legends, if I may ask? Is there a diffrence.

As Canon and Legends are two distinct timelines, something that's true in one may not necessarily be so in the other. For instance, even though it may exist in Canon, I've yet to see something like Imperial drop garrisons mentioned outside of Legends. So that may mean that it doesn't exist in the former.

Well we need a way to establish a presence on a planet with one or two of the destroyers being send out to gather information on their current location.

For the sake of a fruitful discussion, maybe we could set aside the differences between Canon and Legends and borrow desired elements from both regardless?

What is best for the Death Squadron to have a change in the Star Trekverse. Also have made a new thread called: Death Squadron in the Star Trek verse so we can discuses everything there if you do not mind.

On your first point, maybe just appropriating whatever elements of Canon and Legends suit our purposes best. No need to account for what's true/untrue in which iteration of A Galaxy Far, Far Away. As for your second point, that looks good to me. Hopefully, it'll be more than just you and I who discusses the implications of Death Squadron getting sent to the Milky Way.

'Galactic Republic With Space Marine Army', rather than just the "mere" Clone Troopers of OTL Prequels. The CIS probably gets stomped on the battlefield by the triumphant trample of Adeptus Astartes equivalents adapted for the Star Wars universe.

Thanks for the link Zyobot , interesting read which i agree with a Vulcan would make a very good Jedi. You're welcome. I wonder how an empathic species like Betazoids would do as Jedi; probably poorly if I had to speculate, since they seem vulnerable to feeling the emotions of other beings--which the Order demands be suppressed, lest one be driven to the Dark Side.

What about a Romulan as a Sith lord.

What about a Romulan as a Sith lord. They'd probably do okay, if I had to guess. Klingons--warlike as they may be--are too honorable for that line of work, while Ferengi Sith might resemble a less cerebral and contemplative Darth Plagueis (who was a Muun, which is Star Wars' equivalent to them). A Cardassian could be even more suited, due to their species combining negative traits of the first couple aforementioned ones, on top of their backstabbing tendencies. "Treachery is the way of the Sith," as is often said in the EU.

Well that brought a laugh.
