Depends on what you want to discuses in this ‘Future Internet Content’ thread. That's fair. I suppose that stuff relating to Article 13-style legislation would best be discussed in 'Politics and Current Affairs', whereas new mediums of communication and content-exchange that emerge in the coming decades, depending on how politically charged they are, would work for 'Future History'? That 100 % correct.

What about a 'What Will Middle-Aged And Elderly Millennials Be Like?' thread? It'd belong in either 'Future History' or 'Politics and Current Affairs', I assume.

Might depend on what Zyobot, intends. The thread you mentioned suggests an autocratic pariah state, probably still highly racist if not still formally holding slaves. Possibly he's considering how it might develop otherwise?

I was about to explain my meaning further, though stevep beat me to doing so.

Inspired by the some dinosaur-themed YouTube videos I've been watching lately, what about a 'Human Hunter-Gatherers To Other Prehistoric Times' thread, i.e. the Cretaceous Period?

Also, what about an 'Astrobiology Thread', which would be a place to discuss possibilities for extraterrestrial lifeforms, ecosystems and development? Given that there could be aliens out there, I'm guessing that either the 'Future History' or 'ASB' section is the right board for it.

Think future history would be the place to put it in, I can always move the thread if aliens shows up.

Because even if the best we find are fossils or microbes instead of whole biospheres at least as diverse and complex as those found on Earth, I think it's a real elephant in the room that we ought to discuss before venturing into space (however little contribution one forum can make to that global conversation).

May be a little too late for that. If there are any predators out there but not too far away we're probably already informed them of our presence with our EM broadcasts. On the bright side we might see someone arriving to demand we tone it down else we're going to be hit with the galactic equivalent of a noise abatement ruling.
