Since it’s a hot-button topic that very much applies to the current geopolitical order, what about a ‘Why Do People Mainly Blame Reaganomics?’ thread? Because even though I’m not as knowledgeable about the subject as others here probably are, I still doubt that our current economic woes are quite that simple (given the debatable track record of more left-wing legislation like the War on Poverty in tandem with neoliberalism).

I suppose that even as an alt-history scenario, a 'Bernie Sanders Vs. Donald Trump In 2016' thread would belong in 'Politics and Current Affairs' (at least, for the time being)?

What about '2005 US To 1775', meaning that it once again has to fight for its independence against the British Empire, though it'd no doubt cream King George & Co. if diplomacy were to break down?
