How about 'Republican Barack Obama', or would that also be too political for 'After 1900'? For now it is, the boycott will be lifted from all 2016 election and those who where involved What If in 2020.

Bush became a (conservative) Democrat instead of a Republican?

How about a 'Most Civil Or Toxic Elections In Recent History' thread? I assume that, since contemporary examples have current politics written all over them, it'd belong in 'Politics and Current Affairs'.

I assume that a libertarian—or even ‘Anarcho-Capitalist USSR’—would belong in the ASB section, then?

Also, as yet another cross-time presidential election proposal, how about '1944 FDR Vs. 2004 GW Bush'? This would entail the 2004 Western US--and maybe the South as well--getting sent back to January 1, 1944 and participating in the upcoming election cycle to determine who leads America for the next four years: a the Lost-Generation New Deal champion, or a Boomer neoconservative from sixty years into the future.

The ASB board can do for this thread i think.

What about '1945 FDR SI To 1912 Woodrow Wilson'? Or, is that too frivolous to constitute its own, standalone thread?

How about 'No Homo Sapiens', as in what we'd recognize as humans don't evolve at all? I assume it'd go in the ASB section, provided that it's not too frivolous.

Since it involves a major modern statesman waking up in the body of the burgeoning Soviet despot, I'm wondering if it runs the risk of becoming too currently political.
