Found how much tanks the Germans for Operation Barbarossa: German Orders of Battle – Operation BarbarossaPzKpfw: I 877 PzKpfw :II 1,072 Panzer II Flamm (flame-thrower): 85 Panzer 35(t): 187 Panzer 38(t): 754 PzKpfw III: 1,440 PzKpfw IV: 517 Armoured Command Vehicles: 330 Assault Gun StuG III: 377 For a total of 5,639 vehicles compared to the 1945 Soviet Army which alone had some 20,600 tanks and assault guns.
Don't worry the natural superiority of the Ayran superman will easily defeat massive numbers of inferior Slavs, after all how could they have better equipment than the Reich.  NOT!! I think in this case the German Herr will be basically trying to base its way through a concrete wall with its head and quickly find that doesn't work.
Useless, ugly and provocating comment. Who wrote about ayran supermen? Only you. That is very distasting, i haven´t read anything similar here. In other threads you could read quite often such comments, here not. It would be very good if you stop trolling in that way. Thank you |

If there are issues with other members, there is a report button.
One question i do think about, Is the Soviet Union able to build the bomb ore do they not need it.

They won't need it in the short term. However depending on the date of the 45 ISOT event they will at least have reports from spies that the allies are building such a device and after the Trinity test they would have known its definitely possible. This means a big boost for the chances of the Soviets being 1st to get a bomb, especially since with the quick collapse of the Nazi empire, while there will be concern about the size of the Soviet one your unlikely to see the close and in some cases frantic Anglo-American bomb project. Plus with probably most of Europe to add to their resource base their going to have a lot more resources and probably some important scientists to 'help' develop nuclear weapons.

Sorry you didn't notice the emote and apologies for the offense as none was meant. It was intended as a joke about the insane stupidity of the Nazi delusion of racial superiority. Hence the emote and the "NOT!!". I don't make assumptions about people, as opposed to ideological groups, especially those who seek to abuse others.

the soviets had already infiltrated the Manhatten project by 1944 and had already a good understanding of the principles by 1945, which is how they were able to build their own bomb so quickly. Stalin was actually better informed by the project then Truman was. |

A seems we already have a angry face, think this face will be the same face Hitler makes when his generals suggest not invading the Soviet Union after they got news that the Soviet Union is not a walkover anymore but a war machine with 4 years of bloody combat experience. |

As a long time reader of other forums i know how ugly this could be, esp. with such (idiotic) comments. There is nothing funny about the nazis in ww2. In this timeline they will have a headstart, but with the most important spies having NOT given the most important details about the nukes (that was post may 1945) they will not have a blueprint. The big advantage for the russians: They will know in 1941 (timewarp) things they original learned only in 1945. I have no clue if that is true, but OTL the german scientists who were imprisoned in UK found out how the bomb worked by a newspaperinformation AFTER it was done. Here i think the knowledge by the russians (the USA build such device, it WILL work) give em 4 years and billions of dollars headstart. So it is quite possible - depends on the plot - that the russians will have a ready nuke in the same time as the americans, if they beat the nazis early - say in 1942 - they could get the german scientists, also the immigrants like Klaus Fuchs - who was a significant calculator for the bomb would return to (red) germany... so you loose a lot scientists in the USA and get em in russia But if you want to understand how the russians could close the gap just look for him |

The USSR do not need the bomb, because even with the loss of most major units (in case they loose all forces on "german occupied area") they have enough reserve units, who are vastly superior equipped. For sure the german army of 1941 is on its hights and so in comand stucture and fighting efficency vastly superior. But that does´t help a bit if your airforce is shot down, your enemy has 20times the mortars and weaponary (esp. rocket artillery), his tanks are "industructable" and their commanders have fought YOUR commanders for 4 years in the most bloody war. Basically the russians were survivors - the germans not. It is the technological superiority who break the german neck, even if they loose their major assets. If they keep em, it is seal clubbing at its worst. The germans are helpless, facing artillery divisions, tank corps full of IS-II and T-34-85, against these the germans are abolutly helpless |
