It was a loud film, full on noise throughout! There are no dull moments in it at all.

In Bruges was on TV late last night. I've seen it before but gladly watched it again. The humour isn't for everyone but I think it is a great story.

I saw Terminator: Dark Fate (Terminator #6) at the cinema last night. Full on action. Better than 3, 4, & 5 but... not a brilliant film.

I wanted to go watch The Irishman this weekend. But none of the five cinemas in this city, all multi-screens, are showing it. There is a dispute between the cinema chains and Netflix leading to it only being shown in certain cinemas.

I watched Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw last night. It was a decent film, though not the most stellar work of the century by quite a stretch. Nonetheless, it had its amusing moments (i.e. the two titular characters roasting one another).

Maybe it’s an understandable length of time considering how the entertainment business probably operates, but it strikes me as prolonged nonetheless.

But Netflix, plus what Amazon and the others are doing, will change things.

The Irishman was showing at one cinema in the city yesterday for just the one showing. I went to see it. Three and a half hours long! But was good, really good!

The 40 Year Old Virgin and Hacksaw Ridge. I saw these both over the weekend. I was apprehensive about each, especially the first. They were well done. The battle scenes in the second film were quite something to see.
