Does that mean all those bands are still around? Guns N Roses? Queen? The Who? Michael Jackson? Chuck Berry? Prince? Freddie Mercury? Is not silly, many people like the Beatles are back again, but then again many people we like now who lived in the US and UK are gone.

HAHAHAHA Just realized how off I am with this thread! Everyone else is talking about advanced history and stuff while silly old me just said some stupid thing about bands and musicians. Goodness me, what am I doing with my life... No that will be very important. Culturally there will be a huge impact from both names lost and those who are back again. One other problem both nations will have is the dramatic shift in cultural values in the western world. In 79/81 I think both nations had laws against racial or sexual discrimination and homosexuality was legal but there was still a lot more bigotry than nowadays and there will be a clear clash in values with the rest of the western world. Its still the golden age of page 3 for instance and a vastly different attitude on for instance women being displayed as sexual objects. PS One other point is you could have up to three versions of some people. Someone in Britain in 79 who was in the US in 80 [say for visiting family, tourism, possibly education whatever] who by 2018 is working elsewhere or possibly retired. Going to create a lot of confusion, both for the families involved and probably also raising big legal issues.

That means you could sue yourself and it would technically be legally valid, since they're two individual persons sharing the same mind and soul.
