Poland i would think and the Baltic's. I agree. I fear inviting the Nazis in to help against the Soviets would be like infecting yourself with bubonic plague to counter a dose of pneumonia. If Hitler gets his forces into Poland, even if invited in as an ally I can't see him leaving. No way this can end well for Poland. Agreed, they would seem to be doomed to either being ruled by Hitler or by Stalin in this scenario. |

I was busy with way too many things.
As for the crisis:
- Would the Communists revolt and create a French PR, causing a possible civil war? I doubt that, but if you change some things, can be interesting.
What about a People's Republic of France formed by the Red Army (a laITOL East Germany). Let's say, the Allies were late and the Soviets rolled thru Germany, crossed the Rhine and ended up meeting the Allies on the Seine river (or somewhere else, but it looks like the Seine is notorious as a frontier for Soviet/Allied Paris in French fictions)

What about a People's Republic of France formed by the Red Army ( a laITOL East Germany). Let's say, the Allies were late and the Soviets rolled thru Germany, crossed the Rhine and ended up meeting the Allies on the Seine river (or somewhere else, but it looks like the Seine is notorious as a frontier for Soviet/Allied Paris in French fictions) I remember there is a French comic called "Jour J" (D Day) which are a collection of french comics with one of them called Paris, Soviet sector in which 1944 a storm ravaged the Allied armada in Normandy's shores and as a result Overlord Operation is a complete disaster allowing the Soviet forces to reach Paris.  |

What I originally had in mind, yeah. HOLY CRAP! THEY TRANSLATED THE COMIC?! Indeed. Spare the British Isles, Italy (maybe?) and Iberia. Would Spain, even under the rule of Franco be better than being under Soviet Control. Depends according to the person. Speaking of Franco, I think the Falangists and the Estado Novo in Portugal might last longer than IOTL if France (or half of it, like East Germany) turns Communist. |

I don't know enough about Franco's regime to say but I feel like people who were bitterly opposed to communism would take the risk. |
