The thread for anything Kingsman related.
Just saw The Golden Circle and enjoyed it. I liked the 'psychotic suburban housewife' thing they were doing with the villain. Wasn't as good as the first but still solid.

I would personally have liked if the Movie didn't offer commentary on Things like the "those traits make her an excellent CEO... or a phychopath" line. Also, the Tilde subplot was kind of pointless in my opinion and felt a bit forced. The action scenes were a lot of fun though and the acting was excellent.

At least in much of modern big business. Well at least a pathological sociopath, rather than a full out psychopath.

At least the president wasn't a big Trump expy but just Bruce Greenwood having fun in the role. ("Damn, politics have never been this easy.") Is in the second movie explained how many people died iether by having thier heads blown. I think it was mentioned in a throwaway line at the beginning but it was already explained in the first Movie. Beware, spoilers Ahead. To prevent Samuel L. Jackson's murder cellphone tune from causing everyone to try to kill eachother he had convinced the world's leaders, a bunch of celebrities and his guards to have implants installed in their heads that prevented them from killing. It also featured a fail-safe that caused their heads to blow up and during the final Battle Merlin manually activated that fail-safe.

Well it cost 104 million to make and has made so far a profit of 255.2 million, do not know if a only a 151 million profit over the cost is worth making a 3rd movie.

Avatar made a boatload of money but we they are taking their sweet time releasing the sequel to that Movie.
