He may want to involve a better writer this time then, the story of Avatar was nothing to Write home about. But i do not think you can compare Kingsman 1 and 2 with Avatar. If there is one Thing they have in common it is the over-the-top nature of their action scenes.

I must admit I haven't seen either Kingsman film but from the clips I get the feeling its not meant to be taken too seriously. A bit like the Austin Powers films, distinctly tongue in cheek. Or am I reading it wrong?

That is probably because unlike MI6, the Kingsmen does not concern itself With British foreign policy or answer to a government. Their job is to prevent disasters and save everybody. What I found wierd was why the Kingsmen had not invested in an anti-missile system for their main compound.

One nice thing is i was thinking of, John Steed from the Avengers TV series could be himself a Kingsman?" If we think about the character of John Steed, his mannerisms and even the way he evolved during the show (not to mention his skilled use of an umbrella) he fits right into the Kingsman environment. Even the over-the-top plots from the TV series fit in.

Given how Rich the organisation is I doubt money would be a problem.

Well possibly but IIRC Stead and his collegues were formally part of one of the British security services. Actually just seen the 1st film. Records it on the TV upstairs a couple of months back but only just made the time to watch it. Was thinking from the title it was a purely British service but seems to have a broader European setting, although seems to be centred in Britain and have an excessively 'British upper class' identity. Interesting to see both Micahel Caine and Samuel L Jackson playing baddies, rather than their normal heroic roles.
