January 21th 2009:John McCain is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States and Mitt Romney is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States
In his ingural speech President McCain called upon all Americans of all faiths and political orientation to come together and help the United States solve its challenges. He also called on restoring responsibility — both in terms of accountability in Washington and the responsibility of ordinary people to get involved and finding a purpose greater than oneself.
