Considering the turmoil in Central and Eastern Europe post Great War,do you think if the Rhodesian colonial big shots encouraged mass immigration instead of selective,would they have attracted massive numbers of Germanic families from old Russian Empire instead of them going to Argentina and Canada?Perhaps more Christians from the expulsions and massacres from the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.How would this have changed events in the region until the present day?

Why not South Africa ore South-West Africa.

I doubt they would have brought in enough people to make Rhodesia white majority, even if the basis of the set-up was a white elite with the blacks providing cheap labour. If there had been greater European immigration to southern Africa I expect the vast bulk would be more likely to go to S Africa. [Which might prompt an earlier clash between the Boers and the English speaking white population, as the latter became increasing dominant, since I suspect most immigrants would identify more with them].
