It at least carries the same amount of prestige. It is not given out much i guess. Not in peacetime at least. Some People and the Hr.Ms. Purmerend have actually been awarded it twice during wartime.

On paper both men and women can earn it but since the number of women who have been awarded the medal can be counted on one hand it is pretty much a men-only club.

And here is the Brave Witches squadron. The difference between them and the Strike Witches is that they were stationed on the Russian front throughout most of the war instead of being sent among different theatres as they were needed. So the German squadron is much more German instead of multiple nationalities.
Jagdstaffel 502 “Die Tapfere Hexe” (Formed 1942-formally dissolved in 1950). Major Gundula Rall (Founding member. Born 1918- death 2009. Claimed 175 kills. Note: was partly responsible for revolutionizing much of the Russian air doctrine throughout the war and was buried with full military honours in the Moscow’s Tomb of Heroes. Rall-Rossman Training Base in Armavir is named after her.)
Hauptscharführer Edytha Rossmann (Founding member. Born 1918-death 1955. Claimed 93 kills. Note: was responsible for training hundreds of pilots in Russia’s new fighter doctrine. As thanks she was awarded the Order of the Sword medal and buried with full military honours in Moscow’s Tomb of Heroes. Rall-Rossman Training Base in Armavir is named after her.)
Stabs Oberfeldwebel Georgette Lemare (Transferred between different squadrons for months before being sent to Russia to join the Brave Witches. Born 1917-death 1948. Claimed 77 kills. Note: descended from French parents who moved to River Platte.)
Kapitanleutnant Waltrud Krupinsky (Founding member. Born 1920-death 2000. Claimed 197 kills. Note: the constant rumours of her romantic endeavors with other women created no shortage of embarrassment for general der flieger Adolfine Galland.)
Kapitan tretego ranga Aleksandra Ivanovna Pokryshkin (Russian liaison officer. Born 1913- death 1985. Claimed 65 kills.)
Starshiy serzhant Nikka Edvardine Katajainen (Pokryshkin’s wingmate. Born 1919-death 1997. Claimed 35 kills.)
Leytenant Naoe Kanno (part of the Russian foreign legion. Born 1921-death 1967. Claimed 54 kills. Note: was awarded Russian citizenship after the war.)
Leytenant Sadako Shimohara (part of the Russian foreign legion. Born 1913-death 1987. Claimed 13 kills. Note: was awarded Russian citizenship after the war.)
Leytenant Hikari Karibuchi (part of the Russian foreign legion. Born 1924-death 2008. Claimed 8 kills. Note: was awarded Russian citizenship after the war.)

I was unsure of what to do With Naoe, Sadako and Hikari untill I just decided to throw all three of them into the foreign legion. With Nipa it was much more obvious how she would be recruited.

That is because NipaXSasha is so canon even Fumikane aproves. So you going to make a list for Dutch witches, despite we having no fighter aces of World War II.

No. The United Provinces didn't get any female aces untill the Hainan War when vaandrig Anne Veenboer shot Down seven Chinese J-7 interceptors. There were some female aces during the Yugoslavian War but none became part of the White Witches.

They did, it was just that most of their population was under enemy occupation during most of the war and the were primarly conscripted into the army.

But they did have a army in exile ore did they not. The Dutch Army was continuesly active during the War on both the European, African and Asian fronts. Even if it sometimes was not all that Dutch. However by the end of the War they found themselves increasingly dependant on Brazilian help and during Operation Sea Lion, Dutch participation was limited to the 5th Korps.

So Brazil shouldered much of the burden in supplying manpower to the war effort.
