What if, rather than having Iraq, the U.S. would have invaded Libya in 2003 in order to eliminate Muammar Gaddafi's WMDs and nuclear weapons program?
Any thoughts on this?

Also, for the record, unlike Iraq, Libya actually did have both WMDs and a nuclear weapons program in 2003.

Have you a reason why the United States should Invades Libya instead of Iraq. What about having Gaddafi try to kill Bush Sr. sometime during the 1980s or during the early 1990s? |

Also, for the record, unlike Iraq, Libya actually did have both WMDs and a nuclear weapons program in 2003. Libya doesn't seem to have been actively working on its program. While Libya had essentially purchased a turn key nuclear weapons program from the Khan Network most of the equipment was still in its crates when weapons inspectors arrived to secure it. It in a big warehouse that hadn't really been touched, like something out of Indiana Jones. |

It's amazing Gaddaffi lasted as long as he did picking fights with all his neighbors like that. Well he did think mostly with something other than his brain for most of the time, one reason i think he had a all female bodyguards called the Amazonian Guard |
