What do you think that Russia's future and Ukraine's future will look like?

What about in terms of their economies, societies, et cetera, though? Both will putter on in terms of LGBT rights, with Ukraine probably doing so a little quicker than Russia. Economically, Russia is in a decline and will only get worse. Oil is becoming less important globally, and the twin scourges of alcoholism and low birth rates only exacerbate this. Ukraine may benefit if it throws in its lot with the West. |

Economically, Russia is in a decline and will only get worse. Oil is becoming less important globally, and the twin scourges of alcoholism and low birth rates only exacerbate this. Ukraine may benefit if it throws in its lot with the West. For the record, Russia's total fertility rate is actually currently almost at the U.S.'s level. Indeed, Russia's total fertility rate has certainly increased a lot since 2000!  |
