Hell, I know they have plans to invade the Netherlands should an important US official be tried at the Hague. Yes the so called The Hague Invasion Act, always nice to have such a act in place against one of you oldest allies in the world. I'm certain it's nothing personal. The US government probably has plans to invade every ally, and every host of any international organization.

I doubt there's anything truly appropriate; it's just a thought experiment and not a real attempt at AH.

Interesting. I would imagine it's for the same reason the Army makes plans for zombie apocalypses and girl scout uprising: to keep the strategic mindset flexible and innovative. Now that one I can understand. A vicious, sinister secretive cult. Your got to keep an eye on them. Seriously however starting to plan for suppressions of internal groups can be a slippery slope. That's why if the US military did start planning for what to do if Trump got elected I could understand it but would also feel some concern. I think its a classic case of there's not a right answer its just a case of which is the least wrong one.

But if we could give it a new name what could it be. We'd need to know the historical circumstances of this power before we could think of anything. From a 1947 field manual about the history of the forming of the Aggressor Republic we can learn this: A: At the close of World War II in 1945 the chaotic conditions in Western Europe, which resulted from fundamental disagreements between the victorious allied nations and the failure of the United Nations Organization, gave rise to a new nation, Aggressor. B: When the surrender of Germany was followed almost immediately by wholesale allied withdrawals, a small group of determined men, confirmed in their belief in the totalitarian nation-state, gathered in Spain, took over the control of the weakening government, and established the Aggressor Republic. C: That this action was possible was due primarily to quarrels that broke out among- the former allies, a disinclination on the part of any one nation to accept the responsibility for the direct physical action necessary to suppress this new group, and finally the clever use of propaganda and slogans which freely used the terms "democracy," "the people," and other similar terms. D: As soon as the new government had firmly consolidated its position in Spain and Spanish Morocco, it began to infiltrate to the north and east..A fertile field for their well planned and executed propaganda was found in southern France, northern Italy, Bavaria, and the Tyrol, where United States occupational forces were rapidly being redeployed. A strong secession movement grew almost overnight in those areas which the wVeakened central governments of France and Italy and the ineffective provisional government of Bavaria were powerless to prevent. The natural revulsion of these peoples toward communism asserted itself and provided a strong psychological weapon for the organizers. All races and classes were appealed to. E: After a brief but violent uprising in early 1946, aided and controlled from the Aggressor capital by means of a highly trained fifth column, these two areas were granted independence, promptly applied for union with Aggressor, and were admitted to the Republic. The 1950 field manual and the 1951 field manual description of the Aggressor Republic formation is almost the same so far i can read.

Spain at the end of WW II was the last quasi-fascist country left who expect with the civil war did not suffer much in the war, so it is a goo candidate for being the the country to unite West Europe.

If it were to go militarist, it could control access to the Mediterranean and easily southern France if the military is good enough. Maybe it would need to control Portugal first.

It could be a ally of this country. Salazar was friendly to the Western Allies, though I'm not sure they'd defend him from Spain. If the Aggressor Republic who is composed of two army groups, each numbering roughly 1,000,000 men (according to the 1947 field manual) ever want to invade Portugal i see not much problem for them, also it seems that the Aggressor Army has large number of former Wehrmacht soldiers so it does not have to worry about having a inexperience army to fight with.
