Is it at all possible to have the French nobility overthrow the king AND win the resultant civil war as an alternate French Revolution?

As for OTL I have no real candidate and was just wondering if it was possible to make the nobles angry enough to rebel AND for them to have enough support to win the following civil war.

The French have several groups who can claim the French throne, so there would be enough candidates to pick from, depending on the year that you want this alternate French Revolution to begin. French dynastic disputes

Maybe raising taxes for the Nobles in order for the King to live a lifestyle he has grown to, if the nobles have to pay heavy taxes so that the king can live a lavish lifestyle, than the nobles will most likely consider putting a new king on the throne who is more willing to not have them pay taxes, after all, that why the normal people are around to pay taxes and not the nobles.

But it could be a start for something bigger like a three way civil war between the royalist backing the king, the noblelsist backing the anti-king faction and of course the people who want to remove the noble system in its own.
