I was thinking a good way to get this site a bit more active would be to have 'peak times'. Say for example between 5-6 pm GMT, we all try to get on the site at that time so we can all post and respond to each other. That doesn't mean we don't post at other times too, but it just means we can have more discussions and get threads going, and we know we can come to the site at that time and hopefully others will be online. It could be a certain hour or two every day, or once a week, whatever works for everyone. Is anyone else up for this? What time/ day works best for people?

Also in that time we try to make as many posts/ threads as possible to fill out the forum a little, especially in sections that have less posts currently.

The problem is that from the 58 members these day not more that 18 are truly active and the rest are lurkers or one day posters, i always try to post at all of the categories and hoop in the future that with more members the activity of the forum will become high enough that we always have a peak time.

That sounds like a good idea to me, but my times are a little bit random at the moment.

5-6 PM GMT is hard for me because it's 11 PM to midnight (I'm in Virginia).

Guys I think that's the main thing. As long as there is signs of activity and especially on the 'heavier' TLs and PODs possibly it shows that the site has activity and can hopefully excite interest. I'm spending a lot of time away from home and off line at the moment but contributing when I can. Lordroel - one thought just occurred. Like several people here I'm also on the Endless World's site and there are some good expended TLs there. Would it be worthwhile seeing is say Allen, Sbiper or vonhitchofen would post some of their TLs here, or possibly allow you to copy them for the site? With reference to the originals of course. It might give some useful meat for newcomers to the site who don't know about EW? Steve

Steve I always like to have timelines posted here by people, but i think those people you mention are not going to post something here ore allow their timelines to be posted here by somebody else for the simple reason they are already on a forum already.
