 This is my world, Korellia, an alternate Earth with bigger islands, like Zealandia and Kerguelen. The Saharan lakes are still here, as the Sahara itself is grasslands and prairies. The western US ice age lakes are still present. Australia's interior has a large inland freshwater sea that drains into the ocean, and the interior is grasslands, prairies, and temperate or tropical forest. I'm using this in a sci-fi novel where this planet was created by the Preservers, and a man finds an alien ship that offers to take him to that planet to rebuild civilization there. |

Interesting - I see some larger islands around the British Isles and enlarged Azores. North of Sibiria too and a raised Sundaland to name some but also around in other oceans.
Seems generally a wetter world than Earth.
Whats the flora and fauna of this world - I'd guess some kind of hominim around as only one man is to rebuild civilization?

Interesting world. The larger islands and wetter Sahara and Australia would fit in with a world still in an ice age but then the continental shelves would be more exposed and this only seems to be occurring around western Indonesia as 575 noted. Hence presumably its based on Earth but with deliberate changes by those Preservers.
When you say rebuild civilisation do you mean rebuild one that has collapsed on Koreillia or rebuild a human civilisation that has collapsed on Earth?
Anyway hopefully if things work out for you will we see this story here please? Looks to have prospects.
