In 1000 AD ASB create a Twelver Shia Islamic colony in both Americas, or rather a set of colonies.
This is done by copypasting 10,000 Arab Twelver Shia Muslims into a number of locations in both Americas - 5,000 in North America in a number of locations somewhere along the coast of South Carolina and 5,000 in South America somewhere in Chile.
ASB does everything necessary to prevent a mass death scenario. It organizes housing, food supplies etc. In fact, not a single person dies of hunger.
The colonists have access to the same sort of technologies and skillset as Arabs in the Old World. All possible occupations are represented amongst them. They of course have paper.
How will this ISOT impact Americas and the world?
Some initial thoughts
1. There is going to be a massive die off of natives - perhaps not as drsmatic as in the Columbian Exchange but still 50-60% of Native Americans will die of disease.
2. The colonists are going to have a very high birth rate. They're a highly religious society with piety levels comparable to the Puritans.
3. They are surely going to expand a lot but how much I don't know.
4. They might reach Europe before the Europeans reach them but it's not a guarantee.
