My version of the Fatherland timeline
This timeline is based on the Fatherland (novel) by Robert Harris, i toughed if i could create my own version of it and have so far created this, while many events are mention, many other are still left blank which i hoop to fill in until the year 1964 when the novel begins.
If you have any questions, impute in order to help expand the timeline to 1964 then please post them.
1942 to 1947
May 27th 1942
Reinhard Heydrich survives assassination attempt.
September 9th 1942
German army seizes Caspian Oil Fields.
1943
Attempted to capture German U-Boat for its Enigma Code machine fails. Battle of the Atlantic turns against allies.
Moscow and Leningrad fall, Soviet army pushed back to Ural Mountains.
North African Campaign ends in favor of the Allies. Entire Africa continent under American and British control.
British-American invasion of Italy begins.
1944
War in Italy becomes a stalemate with a frontline beginning in Termoli in the east, along the Biferno River through the Apennine Mountains to the Volturno River in the west. Neither the Germans and their Italian allies are able to remove the British or Americans from their position.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt is sworn in for his fourth term.
1945
War in the East stalemates.
Holocaust continues.
Empire of Japan surrenders to the United States after it dropped atomic bombs on two Japanese cities.
United States occupies former Japanese possessions including Korea and Manchuria.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt dies suddenly. Harry S. Truman becomes president of the United States.
March 30th 1946
The Greek Civil War erupts between Greece royalist backed by the British and the Puppet government of Germany, the Hellenic State.
March 31st 1946
Chinese Civil War resumed between Communist and Nationalist forces.
July 4th 1946
The Philippines gains independence from the United States.
July 28th 1946
A German Kriegsmarine Type XXI U-boat towing a underwater container containing an atomic armed V-4 missile (the V-1 and V2 are rockets and the V-3 was a massive gun used by the Germans until it was destroyed in a Allied air raid in 1945) launches a V-4 missile which explodes over New York.
July 30th 1946
Emergency meeting is held between Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill in Allied occupied city of Taranto, Italy after the Germans detonated a atomic armed V-4 missile over the city of New York. Churchill and Stalin want to continue the war but Truman pressured by the public at home announce that the United States with the war in the Pacific over will negotiate with the Third Reich. Stalin leaves the meeting vowing that the soviet Union will fight on until the end, Churchill knowing that the United Kingdom cannot fight the Germans without the backing of the United States is forced to accept Truman decision to negotiate with the Third Reich.
Augusts 2nd 1946
United States and the United Kingdom enter a temporary cease-fire with Germany.
Augusts 20th 1946
Representatives of the United States of America, United Kingdom and the Third Reich sign in the neutral city of Stockholm , the Stockholm peace accord, Third Reich remains in control of much of Europe, Italy divided between the Allies and the Third Reich.
September 30th 1946
Construction of the Arch of Triumph begins in Berlin.
February 8th 1947
The Allied backed United Nations is formed, replacing the failed League of Nations.
March 12th 1947
President Harry Truman announces the Truman Doctrine starting with the giving of aid to Turkey in order to prevent it from falling into the Third Reich sphere.
May 22rd 1947
United States extends 400 million dollars’ worth of military aid to Turkey, signaling its intent to contain the Third Reich in the Mediterranean.
June 4th 1947
A constitutional referendum is held in Allied occupied Italy with the vote in favor of keeping the constitutional monarchy.
August 14th 1947
India and Pakistan are granted independence by the United Kingdom.

] Can't really see the US letting such an attack go without retaliation. More likely Britain and/or Russia not wanting to be bombed out while the US is demolishing Germany. I think it really needs a somewhat earlier POD that enables Germany to force peace before nukes come into existance for the allies.
