Okay, lets do a reset in this thread and go back if possible to the OP in this thread. ... well ... I have to admit ... IMHO the discussion between ewellholmes and stevep is quite about topic and OP in discussing how the condition asked by the OP - no October Revolution - is acually comming into beeing with at least one side arguing that a peace or at least armistice before the October Revolution of OTL is the only mean to achieve this.
Given the conditions of the time the way how and with whom in charge in Russia avoids the October Revolution would have an immense influence of what might happen after the moment of no-October-Revolution of OTL.
