Inspired by the Island in the Sea of Time book, basically the idea is that a fully competent crewed USCGC Eagle from the year 20XX during a rescue mission was sent back in time during the Golden Age of Piracy in the caribbean. This is going to be a OC group, not connected to Island in the Sea of Time!

Could this crew survive?

What year between the 1650s and the 1730s would be the most interesting to transport the ship?

What potential story ideas would be interesting to explore?
