The start of the publication of Miracle You
On May 10, 1990, a short story manga by CLAMP named Miracle You illustrated by Leeza Sei and written by Nanase Ohkawa, this Yomikiri or short story was published in Val Pretty a magazine in the sister company of Kodansha named Kobunsha. The story of Miracle You was: “A brave magical girl has been dropped into the human world to choose a "Husband" from among "Humans". The heroine, Yuu Asahina, who came to the human world encounters Shuusei Ohtsuki, "the neighbour".” Fumio Osano, an editor of Nakayoshi would notice Miracle You in Val Pretty and had it serialized as a series in Nakayoshi in Kodansha in its March 1991 issue in January of 1991 a year after the publication of Miracle You in Val Pretty of Kobunsha, there was a rumor that it was already pitched in Nakayoshi even prior to its serialization, this was prior to the start of Sailor V and Sailor Moon which would be an anime, Miracle You would be announced to be adapted by TOEI in 1991 in April of 1991 and shown by NHK, 2 years after CLAMP’s debut in a publishing house where they published RG Veda in Shinshokan, the premier of Miracle You in Kodahsha happened months before the premier of Sailor Moon near the end of 1991. Yuu Asahina, the main character of Miracle You Note: This is a world where both Ohkawa and Takeuchi got what they wanted, I write Alternate Histories and make maps in my deviantart and other forums so I think it is good if I do one here.

Compared to other CLAMP works in the 90s
Miracle You was the first worldwide hit of CLAMP which was illustrated by Leeza Sei, published by Kodansha and animated by TOEI and ended its run in Nakayoshi in 1995 which would be followed by Combination published by Kobunsha and animated by TOEI as a movie, Cluster(Shinkigensha), Derayd(Shinkigensha) and Magic Knight Rayearth 1-3[1](Kadokawa Shoten, serialized by Shonen Ace) which were both illustrated by Tamayo Akiyama animated by TMS but Derayd was animated as an OVA after Magic Knight Rayearth ended and Legend of Chun Hyang(Hakusensha, serialized by Serie Mystery Special) illustrated by Mokona Apapa which was animated by TMS as a movie would also be popular, the manga Hagun Seisenki(Fusion Product, serialized by Kids) co-illustrated by Mokona Apapa and Leeza Sei would be popular as well as it is an apocalyptic adventure derived from Hakkeden, it would get a movie in 1995 directed by Rintaro and its ending song would be sung by X Japan while Tokyo Babylon would receive an animated adaptation by Madhouse as OVA and RG Veda would receive OVA adaptations from Animate.
1. MKR gets three seasons in this timeline not just the two seasons it had in our reality and it is targeted to a male audience compared to its counterpart in our reality and both the manga and anime were identical except for fillers.

The popularity of Miracle You and its impact Miracle You would be the anime that popularized anime in United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in 1993 due to its English dub by Nelvana along with Sailor Moon that was adapted by Toon Makers as a combined animation and live action as well as its spin off Team Angel in 1998 and the anime of Sailor Moon would get an English dub in 1995 and an OVA of Sailor V would be made alongside the last animated arc of Sailor Stars in the 90s and Sailor Moon would get popular in the US after the intellectual property issue of Miracle You between CLAMP and its former member Leeza Sei and Sailor Moon would benefit from it and Miracle You would have been out of print until 2011 when Clear Miracle You was announced which was illustrated by Mokona Apapa and animated by Madhouse instead of TOEI.
Miracle You by CLAMP and the Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi have been said to have been the shows that popularized the Magical Girl genre in the 1990s.

The dispute between CLAMP and Leeza Sei In 1996 after the third season of Magic Knight Rayearth when Tamayo Akiyama and Leeza Sei left CLAMP, Tamayo Akiyama would still have good relations with the other CLAMP members and shared royalties with CLAMP in Magic Knight Rayearth even in the present and Tamayo Akiyama would switch to Shueisha from Kadokawa Shoten and eventually got published in Young Jump in 2001 while Leeza Sei and the current CLAMP members would get estranged in 1996 due to the disputes in royalties which would cause Miracle You to not to get reprinted for a while since 1996 and its anime being suspended in licensing and eventually in the late 2000s Leeza Sei would switch publishers from Akita Shoten and Kobunsha to Shogakukan in 2009.[1]
Despite the estrangement between Leeza Sei and the other members of CLAMP, CLAMP would be allowed continue to serialize and publish Hagun Seisenki but with Mokona Apapa as the main illustrator but the publication would be in Kadokawa Shoten and the serialization would continue in Monthly Asuka in 1997, months after the serialization in Kids was interrupted by Leeza Sei’s departure from CLAMP.
CLAMP would publish their later hits Clover, Angelic Layer, and Chobits which would be their works after Leeza Sei and Tamayo Akiyama left and their new works after their reduction to four members would be published by Kodansha in Nakayoshi, Amie, and Young Magazine.
On 2011, Leeza Sei and CLAMP would negotiate for a new reprint of Miracle You would be made by Kodansha and a manga sequel of Miracle You named Clear Miracle You would be announced with Mokona Apapa as the illustrator.
1. In our world, Leeza Sei would erase the traces of her being a member of CLAMP in the reprints of her works after the last reprint of the first edition of the first 2 volumes of Combination in 1997.
End for now
